The 4th VIB Summer School in Advanced Microscopy is an opportunity for Ph.D students, post-doctoral fellows and technical staff to receive training in the important techniques and skills needed to produce quality data from both basic and advanced microscopes.
The course features lectures from 12 expert microscopists from the VIB, The University of York, EMBL, The London Research Institute and Carl Zeiss. The course also features extensive practical sessions giving students the opportunity to work in small groups and use over €3M in state-of-the-art high end microscopes. The course also will extensively cover image processing and analysis and demonstrate how to use your micrographs as digital data sets.
